Do you have to audition for all memberships to train at Stagebox?
Yes. All memberships are by audition entry from 8-18 years old
How do I audition?

- In-Person Auditions: Required for musical theatre membership
- Online Auditions: Available for singing and acting membership
You can choose to audition in person or online based on the requirements above.
What memberships do you offer?
We offer three memberships at Stagebox and we advise which pathway is the most appropriate for targeted industry development on entry. Full brochures can be downloaded at our membership page for more information including dates, times and locations.
Where do you have to live?
You can come from anywhere worldwide. Even for our memberships in person, you can train anywhere, anytime. Our members come from across the UK, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Europe, America, Dubai and beyond. Our training schedule is flexible in format and most of members train with us for the full decade.
What experience do you have to have?
We train from newcomer to advanced. Stagebox is an industry accelerator with high quality training and opportunities. No experience is required to gain entry but competition is high to gain a place. We have 30 regional places per year and 10 scholarships per year awarded. We are looking for natural aptitude, ability and passion to learn and be in the industry
What do you need to prepare?
You’ll be sent full guidelines on what to prepare including your own material.
What membership should I audition for?
You can choose any of our 3 memberships- musical theatre, acting for screen or singing. Many members choose a number of memberships to give them the best all round training package and opportunity. All memberships are equally competitive and all are via audition entry
When are auditions held?
Auditions are held seasonally in person and online. Prospective members meet the resident training team, management team and industry guests when they audition in the room. The same panel review all applications
When will I hear an outcome?
Usually you’ll hear within 2 weeks of audition entry but it can take longer out of cycle as memberships are capped
How do I audition to be managed?
You must be a member to be managed at Stagebox. Once you’re a member you’ll be eligible for Stagebox Management.
